3. Reason 1: It’s Fun! UIL is so much fun. Not only is it a way to learn new cool things, but it also a great way to have fun. At the competition you can play games and compete in this tournament of knowledge. There is always so much to do, that before you know it, everything will be done!

4. Reason 2: Learning As many people know, the UIL competition is about learning and showing off that knowledge. I mean, you might learn cool facts about history and stuff. UIL is a great opportunity to show your friends and teachers how much you know.

5. Reason 3: Friends When your at UIL, it’s a wonderful time to meet friends. Students from all around are ready to meet you here. Your future best friend might just be waiting for you. And, you can make a team with your friends and compete together. Whether meeting new friends, or coming with old ones, UIL is an awesome place to be!

6. Reason 4: Awards Who doesn’t like to win awards? At the yearly UIL meet, there are so many awards to be giving. Representing your school is cool, but winning an award at the same time is even better!

7. Reason 5: There’s a subject for everyone! There are many subjects you can compete in like some of the following.
