10 IROQUOIS LADY CHIEFS LACROSSE 2013 TEAM SELECTION It is expected that there will be more players trying out than there are available spots at all levels. Final roster determination will be made based on the combined rubric score of the three day tryout. In case of academic or physical ineligibility of a team member during the season, call-backs will be based on rubric scores.

11 Team Members: Varsity: 18 – 20 JV: 20 – 22 Modified: 22 – 24 Contests: Modified: 12 JV: 15 Varsity: 16

12 1. The skill level of lacrosse players in Western New York has increased significantly in recent years. 2. Many girls have put in time either playing at grade level or higher during the off-season. 3. Playing at a particular level during the off-season does not guarantee a spot on the season roster at that level. 4. Players may try out for any level they are eligible to play at, but the coaches will make the final decision regarding each candidate’s level of play. 5. If a 7 th or 8 th grader chooses to try out for the JV or Varsity team and does not make that team they may still try out for the Modified team.
