Introduction Fifth wheel – trailer to truck connection ConMet wants a machine to test ultimate strength of fifth wheels in axial direction Test machine must have: - Adjustable width and height for different models of fifth wheels - Data acquisition: need to know forces required to fail fifth wheel 300 kip
