3. On the 31 st August 2002, SCUBAPRO again made diving history.

4. We set the new World Record for the number of divers breathing simultaneously from one 1 st stage regulator.

6. How did we do it? 75 octos were rigged up through an elaborate hose and manifold system…

7. Setting up the rig…

8. And connected to a single SCUBAPRO Mk25 1 st stage,

10. And a 50 liter 300 bar BAUER cylinder…

16. Due to the extremely high flow, ice formed all over the cylinder, reg and hoses,

17. HOWEVER… the Mk25 didn’t stop delivering air and things began to settle down nicely.

18. Oops, we lost one.

20. A little chilly after a few more minutes.

21. 10 minutes 9 seconds later.

22. We’ve done it, a new World Record!
