examples of Work cont. Now think of it this way…. A girl moves the box instead of the boy but she uses an inclined plane that is 3 m long to move the box into the back of the truck using only 150 N of force. How much work has been done to move the box? w = F xd w = 150 N x 3 m w = 450 J (Joules)

Both the boy and the girl did the same amount of work, but the girl used less force to do the same amount of work. Who had the advantage??? Why??
