2  The original residential unit current Přerov was located on the left bank Bečva in Předmostí.  Archeological researchs found extensive housing development of mammoth hunters in 25 000 years ago.  The first written mention of Přerov was in 1141.  Přemysl Otakar II. made Přerov on a city in 1256.  Author of a czech grammar, famous native of Přerov, diplomat and educationalist of the Unity of Brethren, Jan Blahoslav was born in 1526 in Přerov.  Jan Amos Komenský was his predecessor, teacher of nations, theologian, philosopher, studied in Přerov in the Unity of Brethren.  In 1887 was found museum J.A.Komenského.
