I know + infinitive = I know how to do something Examples Je sais jouer de la guitare. Je sais nager. Je sais jouer un sport. Je sais lire.

Do you know how to do something? Tu sais + infinitive ? Tu sais jouer de la guitare? OR INVERT THE SUBJECT AND VERB Sais-tu + infinitive? Sais-tu jouer de la guitare?

Doing something well Put the adverb “bien” or “très bien” after the conjugated verb and before the infinitive. Tu sais bien jouer de la guitare? OR Sais-tu bien jouer de la guitare? Je sais bien jouer de la guitare. Je ne sais pas bien jouer de la guitare.

Parlez! (Pretend!!) The lined side of the flashcards are activities that you do not know how to do. The unlined side of the flashcards are activities that you do know how to do. For five minutes (I will time you), ask different people if they know how to do those activities. When you respond to others, refer to your card to whether you know how to do them or not.
