How do you ask a question in English? Begin your question with a question-word: Who (wie) * What (wat) Why (waarom) * When (wanneer) Where (waar) * How (hoe) Begin your question with Can, Have/Has or a form of ‘to be’ Can…. you think of a situation where people discriminate? Have…. you ever felt like an outsider? Are…. you currently being discriminated against? Begin your question with “Do / did” Do….. you feel bad when you’re discriminated against? How do we talk about things that happened in the past? Mr. Ed was a talking horse. This used to be a very popular TV show years and years ago, in the past. So remember: whenever you’re talking about the past, think of Mr. ED and write –ED at the end of the verb! Example: Today I walk the dog Yesterday I walked the dog.
