The project were organised around four key questions KQ 01 : delimiation of world regionsKQ 02 : Europe in its networks KQ 03 : European neighbourhoodKQ 04 : Internal differenciations

The result of the ESPON project were presented and enriched in an atlas published in 2008. This atlas implied the involvement of new persons

Divisions of the World Provide updated division of the world (WUTS) Compare Europe with other parts of the world => Building an enriched database => Use infra national administrative units => Fuzzy set theory approach
