5 How NERC educates/enlightens the electricity consumer Section 80 (1) (g) of the Electric Power Sector Reform Act 2005 mandates the Commission to provide information to consumers and the manner of its dissemination. In pursuant of that, the Commission established the Consumer Education and Enlightenment Unit in August, 2010 Electricity on Demand 5
