IDE: Integrated Development Environment Makes development easier Increases productivity Features (most typically): –Most of you already know this (i.e. Visual Studio) –Integrated compiler and debugging –Code completion and similar –Wizards and code generation –Deployment support (ant scripting) –Support for version control systems
