Practicing Enforceable Limits… Open your books to page 54. Don’t sharpen your pencil while I’m talking. Don’t bother your neighbors. Turn your assignment in on time or you’ll get a lower grade. Don’t turn in sloppy papers. I need you to be quite and pay attention so we can continue! I’ll be working from page 54 I allow people to sharpen pencils when I’m not giving directions. I welcome students to stay with us as long as other’s aren’t being bothered. I give full credit for papers turned in on time. I give credit to papers that meet the neatness standards for this room. I’ll move on when I see thumbs up from everyone!
