About this session Feeding back findings of evaluation of existing toolkit – which is complete Informing development of the new toolkit exploring what guidance is needed around migration gauging interest in staying involved in development of the revised guidance

The existing Toolkit Published in 2010 (updated 2011) to develop a strategic local response to migration Three main sections understanding demographic challenges locally building the evidence base around population developing a migration strategy – with short sections on aspects such as citizenship, cohesion or education

Use of the Toolkit Useful, but... need for clearer language more concise and modular demand for online links more case studies and innovative approaches more on joint working more regular updates

How it works Choose a group you want to start in There will be four 15 minute slots – with an alert every 15 minutes Choose to stay where you are, or move on A facilitator in each group will recap on the previous discussions – build on discussion to date
