Ministry Factors “There are different kinds of SPIRITUAL GIFTS but the same Spirit gives them. There are different WAYS OF SERVING, the the same Lord is served. There are different ABILITIES to perform service, the same God gives ability to everyone for their service. The Spirit’s presence is shown IN SOME WAY in each one for the good of all” 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 (GN)

Paul’s IMPACT I nterests It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else's foundation (Rom 15:20) For God, who was at work in the ministry of Peter as an apostle to the Jews, was also at work in my ministry as an apostle to the Gentiles (Gal. 2:8) However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me--the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace (Acts 20:24) M inistry gifts And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher (2 Ti. 1:11) P ast experiences You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, persecutions, sufferings--what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them (2 Ti. 3:10-11) A bilities Paul went to see them, and because he was a tentmaker as they were, he stayed and worked with them. Every Sabbath he reasoned in the synagogue, trying to persuade Jews and Greeks (Acts 18:2c-4) C ontacts There he met a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla (Acts 18:2a) T emperament For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it. I was advancing in Judaism beyond many Jews of my own age and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers (Gal. 1:13-14)
