4.  In order to properly respond to Christ we much first answer the question for our self, “What are you looking for?”  “Come and See” ▪ A promise – “You will see” ▪ An invitation to experience life

5.  Mary considered herself a servant from Christ’s birth  The results were threefold. ▪ 1. The bridegroom's need was met. ▪ 2. Christ's glory was revealed.. ▪ 3. The faith of the disciples was strengthened.  a sign is something that points beyond itself. It teaches a spiritual truth; it points to God and His provision in Jesus

6.  God desired to use his chosen people as a witness to the nations  The leaders used religion to isolate people from God  Jesus condemned their false heart of religion, pretense, and empty ceremony  We are God’s house ▪ Acts 17.24-25 ▪ 1 Peter 2.5

7.  Shallow Faith - faith that exists only as long as its object fits our expectations  He did not entrust himself to them The one who has the Son has life. The one who doesn’t have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:12 (HCSB)

8. Our response to Christ in this life, will be His response toward us in the life to come.
