The Holy Spirit comes in Samaria (Acts 8:14-17) When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them. {15} When they arrived, they prayed for them that they might receive the Holy Spirit, {16} because the Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus. {17} Then Peter and John placed their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit and me I am utterly dependent on the Holy Spirit for power to witness or to live obedient to Christ. (Acts 1:8) But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses …" (Galatians 5:22-23) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, {23} gentleness and self-control.

What winning spiritually looks like 1.“Name of the Lord honored” – People around us recognize we are different because we want to honor Jesus Christ. 2.“Confessed…and burned” – We clearly admit and decisively deal with our sin. 3.“Word of the Lord spread…” We experience God’s power to spread the gospel.
