But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Today normal ‘Christian’ giving averages out at 2% of yearly income Most ‘Christians’ actually think that more of the world will make them happy

Matthew 6:33 “...seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Earn more or spend less money How do we get beyond just the practical and into the spiritual? Our prayer as a church and as individuals should be... "God, how do you want me to manage the resources that you entrust to my care?"

These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others.” First The Tithe What does tithing do? It trains us and teaches us that God will do more with 90% than we can do with 100% It builds faith It breaks the power of materialism and consumerism in our lives “...seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
