5 MYTHS ABOUT CREATIVITY  Creativity is inborned;  Development of creativity is possible only in specific areas;  People can be divided into creative and non creative;  Creative ideas are complicated and it is not easy to detect them;  Creativity is not manageable, controlled or promoted;  Creativity is a way of relaxation;  Creativity is better nurtured and revealed at young age.

7 SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT FOR CREATIVITY  Creativity is treated as a value;  Atmosphere for free expressions;  Pupils engagement; taking responsibility for their own learning;  Investigation atmosphere – not looking for a “ right” answers ;  Encouragement to take a risk ;  Physical environment.

8 Creativity according village school principal :  School is not saying “no”;  School supports any ideas, even the crazy ones;  Appropriate conditions for teachers work;  Pupils can enter principals room at any time;  Creative teacher is energetic, brave, not afraid to speak and say silly things; believes that bicycle is not fully invented;  Absolute freedom.

Text/ film/narrative :  inspires fantasy, imagination;  encourages expression of various opinions, interpretations, calls for discussions;  teaches to pay attention to details;  motivates to read/look attentively;  teaches to make connections, look for relationships;  promotes reflective thinking.
