NIC USSD Currently Works only on AIRTEL,TATA,BSNL & IDEA SIM ( prepaid or Post paid) *491# is the short code allocated to NIC by the telecom service providers Based on the E-Application which gets integrated, USSD short-code is assigned eg : *491*105# for Agriculture, *491*101# for MCTS health etc. There is a time limit of 60sec for sending the response in a menu and 3 min for the entire session If response is not received in 60seconds the USSD session will be disconnected
