Arizona Department of Education Arizona Student Education & Career Action Plans ECAP An ECAP (Education and Career Action Plan) reflects a student's current plan of coursework, career aspirations, and extended learning opportunities in order to develop the student's individual academic and career goals. Effective for the graduation class of 2013, every student in grades 9-12 will complete an ECAP Plan.

CHOOSING A CAREER IS A BIG DECISION – But you don't have to sweat it— planning for your future is not something you do all at once. It's a continuous process.

Take a realistic look at your strengths, weaknesses, and interests. Consider: What types of work and school courses and activities appeal to you? What interests you? What do you do well now, and what skills have you gained through experience? What values do you have regarding work?

Class Rank The student transcript reports both the weighted and unweighted cumulative grade point average. Class rank is based on the weighted cumulative grade point average. The total number of grade points earned in all courses taken is divided by the number of credits attempted.
