Government is seeking a 50 % increase in the number of students going directly into trades and technical training after graduation from 4,000 to 6,000 over the next three years (2012-2013 - 60,875 grade 12s) Improve graduation completion rates Up to 600,000 trades shortages by 2020 in Canada

Work Experience Provides students with experience in career field of their choice 3. Dual Credit Programs School district partnerships with PSIs. Any course offered by a PSI that leads to a credential is funded by EDUC 4. Accelerated Credit Enrolment to Industry Training (ACE IT) Accelerated Credit Enrolment to Industry Training provides first level tech training (at college) for high school students 5. 21. Transportation No transportation for specialty programs in SD 73 Families are responsible for transportation to NorKam for the semester Kamloops city bus pass costs $100 for 4 months
