3 Sagip Saka Sagip Saka is an advocacy that aims to achieve sustainable modern agriculture and food security by transforming agricultural communities to reach their full potential, improving farmers’ and fishers’ quality of life, and bridging gaps through public-private partnerships.

14 Local Government Units (LGUs) Sagip Saka Pillars and their Roles: Local Government Units (LGUs) organize farmers and fisherfolk into cooperatives assist the farmers’ and fishers’ cooperatives to meet the accreditation requirements of the market (business sector/company) create linkage with other government institutions to provide technical assistance and other requirements provide regular pest and disease monitoring by the assigned Agricultural Technologist assist the farmers and fisherfolk in the preparation of Project Proposals, Work Plans, Agro-enterprise Plans, and other documents
