2. Information  For My community service program I decided to help out around my neighborhood. They had a clean up day of our front entrance and tennis courts.  My job was to help dig up the old plants and help plant new ones.  Since my father owns the neighborhood I of course had to help out more than others. In between helping out I also had to run errands for him.

3. First Task:  My first task was to help dig up the old plants that we had in the front entrance.  Thankfully I had help from two of my friends from college named Tony and Bryan.

4. Second task:  My second task was for Tony, Bryan, and I to go to Home Depot and pick up some new plants to plant at the front entrance.

5. Lunch Break!  For lunch my dad had a cookout at his house for everyone who was helping out that afternoon.  Unfortunately I could not join them at the cookout because I had to go and help my friend Tony who was still trying to dig a hole for a new tree.

6. Tony’s Mistake When I went to go help Tony I found out that he had made a slight mistake. When I went to go help Tony I found out that he had made a slight mistake. He was supposed to dig a hole for a new tree but dug it in the wrong place and uncovered a power box. 7. Task 3 ► Our third task was to go down to the tennis courts and help some of the people there pick weeds from around the outside of the courts. ► While we were down there my dad asked Tony, Bryan, and I to go back up to the front entrance of the neighborhood to help him.

8. Fourth Task  When we returned to the front my dad had us plant the new plants in the front entrance.  Bryan thought it would be funny to act stupid in these pictures.

9. End of the Day  At 4p.m. my dad told everyone helping good job and said that we were done.  We had started working at 8a.m and everyone was now exhausted  It had been hard work but it was well worth it.

10. What I Got From It What I got from this community service was that if a community can pull together than they can do a lot of work in just a small amount of time. We were all tired afterwards but I at least know that when I pull into my neighborhood now I can be proud of the work that went into making it look nice. 11. Celebrate! As a final celebration of our happiness at a job well done Bryan and I had a Mid-air High- five Picture taken.
