2. Reduce Packaging Waste The lifespan of one SmartKlean Laundry Ball is equivalent to 20-40 containers of laundry detergent, fabric softener and dryer sheets. Although some these containers used for laundry products are said to be recyclable, the sad reality is that they are ‘down-cycled’. Eventually, after being recycled a few times, plastics and cardboards are no longer usable and are sent to landfills. What’s worse is that most of them are not biodegradable. In addition to this, plastics are generally toxic to manufacture, generate waste and consume large amounts of resources and energy to be produced.

3. Reduce Waste in Our Waterways Today’s traditional laundry detergents use 50 fluid ounces of concentrated liquids.
