2 Is a seahorse a vertebrate? Yes, a seahorse is a vertebrate(has a spine)and it belongs to the fish group.

3 Different types of seahorses There are about 50 types of seahorses. Example: dwarf seahorseand the tiger tail seahorse.

4 About seahorse A seahorse belongs to the family of Syngnathidae. A seahorse ranges between 1.6-20 cm in size and it is usually found in shallow, coastal tropical and temperate waters world-wide. The seahorse has camouflaging qualities, because of which they are difficult to spot!

5 Some facts about the seahorse Seahorse differs in color, orange, red, yellow, green and even grey. Zebra stripes and spots, are two patterns that a seahorse come in. A herd, is the term a group of seahorses are known as. A seahorse has an interior skeleton. A seahorse is unable to curl its tail backwards. A seahorse belong to the Teleost suborder or bony fish group. The average lifespan of a seahorse in the wild is estimated to be 1 to 5 years.
