WHAT IS A COMMON SAYING, OR DICHO/REFRAN ? In Spanish, a proverb or common saying is “Dicho o refrán” 1. A wise expression used in oral or written communication in the Hispanic world. 2. Some dichos are used to express social customs or political views. 3. Some dichos are considered offensive in certain groups. !Vamos a aprender algunos dichos!
