THE RIGHT EXERCISE FOR YOU You don’t have to do strenuous exercise for long periods of time – increasing physical activity can be part of your everyday routine and can be beneficial and cheap! If you want to start doing lots of exercise (like going to a gym) or you have particular physical problems it is wise to check with your doctor first about the type and amount of exercise you do. Avoid doing strenuous exercise if you feel unwell, for example if you have a cold – let your body get better. If you feel unwell during exercise, stop and see your doctor before doing more. Always give your body time to recover after lots of exercise.
