If someone offends then police should find out if they have a learning disability

People should have different places to go and get help, not just prison
38
What are we doing in Walsall?
39
We have a specialist team for people with learning disabilities who offend
40
We are trying to help the police to learn about people with learning disabilities and teaching them what they can do to help
41
We are working with probation, police and court diversion to make them aware of who we are and how we can help.
42
We have different places where people can get help
43
We run treatment programmes in the community to help people stay out of trouble
44
We find people places to live and help them when they are ready to move
