Already / yet Have you eaten the apples yet? (question) Yes, I have already eaten the apples. (positive) ‘Already’ goes in the MIDDLE or at the END of the sentence. or Yes, I have eaten the apples already. (positive) In the present perfect tense, we use already with positive (yes) sentences.
