21. Cherrapunjee/ Sohra The second rainiest place in the world. On the border of India and Bangladesh. British changed name to Cherrapunjee from Sohra. 4,500ft above sea level.

22. Other places to visit Nohkalikai falls One of the tallest waterfalls in India at 1100 ft. Legend says that a woman named Ka Likai threw herself off the waterfall. Krem Mawmluh The cave has a five-river way with amazing proportions. With a length of 4,503 m, it is the 4th longest cave in India.
