Trace the events that shaped the revolutionary movement in America, including the French and Indian War, British Imperial Policy that led to the 1765 Stamp Act, the slogan “no taxation without representation,” the activities of the Sons of Liberty, and the Boston Tea Party.

There was a great deal of tension between colonists and the British troops that occupied Boston.

On March 5, 1770, a fight broke out between a group of colonists and soldiers. The colonists threw snowballs, as well as sticks and rocks. One of the soldiers fired into the crowd. After that, the fighting increased and more shots were fired. Five colonists were killed.
