1 How God makes us perfect.
Righteousness How God makes us perfect.

2 How Can A Man Be Righteous?
Job 25:4-6 (NASB77) 4  "How then can a man be just with God? Or how can he be clean who is born of woman? 5  "If even the moon has no brightness And the stars are not pure in His sight, 6  How much less man, that maggot, And the son of man, that worm!"

3 The Kingdom Of God Romans 14:17 (NASB77) 17  for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. The rules of the Kingdom

4 The Wrong Mountain Hebrews 12:18-20 (NASB77) 18   For you have not come to a mountain that may be touched and to a blazing fire, and to darkness and gloom and whirlwind, 19  and to the blast of a trumpet and the sound of words which sound was such that those who heard begged that no further word should be spoken to them  For they could not bear the command, " IF EVEN A BEAST TOUCHES THE MOUNTAIN, IT WILL BE STONED."

5 The Right Mountain Hebrews 12:21-24 (NASB77) 21  And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, " I AM FULL OF FEAR and trembling." 22  But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, 23  to the general assembly and church of the first- born who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, 24  and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood, which speaks better than the blood of Abel.

6 We Are Qualified! Colossians 1:10-12 (NASB77) 10  so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11   strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously 12  giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

7 Established Isaiah 54:14 (NASB77) 14  "In righteousness you will be established; You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear; And from terror, for it will not come near you.

8 What Righteousness Does
Isaiah 32:17 (NASB77) 17  And the work of righteousness will be peace, And the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.

9 God Created Righteousness
Isaiah 45:8 (NASB77) 8  " Drip down, O heavens, from above, And let the clouds pour down righteousness; Let the earth open up and salvation bear fruit, And righteousness spring up with it. I, the LORD, have created it.

10 Listen Chasers Of Righteousness
Isaiah 51:1-3 (NASB77) 1  " Listen to me, you who pursue righteousness, Who seek the LORD: Look to the rock from which you were hewn, And to the quarry from which you were dug. 2  "Look to Abraham your father, And to Sarah who gave birth to you in pain; When he was one I called him, Then I blessed him and multiplied him." 3  Indeed, the LORD will comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places. And her wilderness He will make like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the LORD; Joy and gladness will be found in her, Thanksgiving and sound of a melody.

11 This Is Our Calling Isaiah 61:1-2 (NASB77) 1  The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, Because the LORD has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to captives, And freedom to prisoners; 2  To proclaim the favorable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,

12 Instead Of, In The Place Of
Isaiah 61:3-4 (NASB77) 3  To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified. 4  Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins, They will raise up the former devastations, And they will repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.

13 The Everlasting Sign! Isaiah 55:12-13 (NASB77) 12  "For you will go out with joy, And be led forth with peace; The mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, And all the trees of the field will clap their hands  "Instead of the thorn bush the cypress will come up; And instead of the nettle the myrtle will come up; And it will be a memorial to the LORD, For an everlasting sign which will not be cut off."
