The Beatitudes Jesus taught this eternally relevant lesson as part of The Sermon on the Mount. The Beatitudes are found in Matthew 5:3-10
3
The values of the Beatitudes are the values we need to live a moral life and to satisfy the desire for happiness God places in our hearts.
4
Jesus taught the truth of happiness in living the Beatitudes. The Beatitudes respond to the Ten Commandments, not deny them. They are Christ’s ways depicted for us. Following these lifestyles will make sure that the law is obeyed willingly as a part of one’s life, and not as a burden added to it. The Beatitudes are a promise of hope that the reward of heaven awaits those who seek it with all of their being.
