1. Llwyd: Hi, how are you Eli? Eli:Not bad thanks, what about you Llwyd? Llwyd:I’m happy. How was your holiday? Where did you go over the Summer holiday?

2. Eli: I travelled around the world. First I went to Oakwood Park. Llwyd: Oh fantastic! How? Eli: In a fast, red car.

3. Eli:It was cloudy. I ate a burger and cold ice-cream. I drank flat coke. I wore new trainers, jeans and a purple T-shirt. I had a stomach ache. I had a boring time.

4. Llwyd: Where next? Eli: I went to Paris. Llwyd: When? Eli: During the first weekend of August. I went in a train – without a sound.

5. Eli: It was raining. I ate frogs’ legs – yuk! I drank white wine, I wore black trousers, trainers and a brand new T-shirt. I had a head ache. I had an awful time.

6. Llwyd: Oh dear. Where next? Eli: I went to Egypt. Llwyd: Who did you go with? Eli: All by myself, but I went in an airplane for the first time.

7. Eli: It was hot and dry. I ate rice and chicken in a hot sauce. I drank warm water. I wore small shorts and sun-glasses – i was a cool-dude! But I had an ear-ache and I had a bad time.

8. Llwyd: Where next Eli? Eli: I went to Iceland. Llwyd: Oh great. Did you go in a ‘plane? Eli: No I went in a ship. I felt really ill.

9. Eli: It was cold and dark. I ate soup – too salty. I drank tea with goat’s milk.I wore lots of clothes. I had cold hands, cold feet and a cold nose. I had an awful time.

10. Llwyd: What a shame. Eli: Where did you go Llwyd? Llwyd: I did not have a good holiday like you. I went to the park. Eli: How? Llwyd: On the bike.

11. Eli: Who did you go with? Llwyd: With a lot of friends. Eli: Did you enjoy yourself? Llwyd: Oh yes, lots – i played football,I swam in the river. I ate delicious chips, I drank cold lemonade. I had fun.

12. Eli: Can I have your bike, Llwyd? Llwyd: Why? Eli: I am going to the park straight away. I’ll see you by the river, next to the chip stand. Llwyd: Oh Eli. You are really going over the top now!
