2. The Maidu clothes were mostly made from deer skin. They wore different clothing for ceremonies The man wore breechcloths or they wore skirt made from grass The kids wore nothing The woman wore long bone ear rings. They would wear a apron made of strips of bark or grasses

3. The Maidu didn’t farm they’d rather hunt or fish due to the hot temperature. They’d hunt elk,rabbit,squirrel,deer, and birds. They caught their fish from the ocean or the river. Their diet was eating seeds,acorns, and roots. The village chief would decide what the men would hunt.

4. Maidu homes were rounded earth lodges Their homes were made of wood, earth, branches,and twigs. Maidu people could live in a small village surrounding a larger village They always set up there villages near fresh water, usually by a nearby streams

5. Women were very skilled at making tightly woven baskets. They made baskets from bark grasses, twigs,and cattails The men of the tribe taught boys how to fish and hunt. Small children and girls helped woman collect seeds and dig roots. They used seed beaters to knock the seeds off their tall stems
