Armour and weapons Pedro The soldiers used armour to protect themselves They used weapons to attack the opponent.

Pedro Helmets, breastplates and greaves The helmets protected the head The breastplates protected the chest The greaves protected the lower part of the legs

Pedro There were many types of helmets the ones that protected the nose, the ones that covered all the head except the eyes, the corinthian helmet that had a special protection for the cheeks etc Corinthian helmet Attic helmet The breastplate protected the chest. Usually they were made of bronze. It was the main part of body armour. They were very hard because they protected a very important part of the body.

.The greaves protected the bottom part of the legs. Usually made of bronze. Some of them were fixed to put them in statues of heroic warriors. Weapons The weapons that were used to attack were the sword, usually made of stone or bronze; the spears that had a sharp end and it was the main weapon for the greeks, the daggers that were used from a shortest distance than other weapons and the bows, that were used from a longest distance. The weapon that was used to defend themselves was the shield usually with a drawing in the middle. Pedro The weapons were very important for the war.

The greeks invented the catapult in the 4th century. Early versions were based on the crossbow. Ian H. When one greek state fought another, a common tactic was to burn the crops that surround the enemy city.

Ian H. Poor men who could not afford the full weapons and armour usually served in lightly armed auxiliary units.

Ian H. The cavalry were soldiers that fought in horse and wore full armour. The greek soldiers used many war strategies for example, many soldiers attacked the center of the enemy army and another group attacked the weak wings. Enemy Army

Ships cargo ships had sails the warships had sails and oars the oarsmen were underneath the deck Quinto This is a trireme. this ship could carry 200 men and 170 were oarsmen The oars were about 4 metres long Greek ships sailed all around the Mediterranean sea

All the Greek people before going to sail or for battle they pray to god Poseidon this is a cargo ship that has sails and a wheel These traders travelled in cargo ships, that could carry a lot of stuff, even though they didn't go fast like triremes. Even when traders were just carrying things from one Greek town to another, they generally went by sea, because Greece is so mountainous that it is hard to transport things by ox-cart.triremesmountainous Quinto

THE WAR STARTED BECAUSE HELEN. HELEN WAS THE KING OF SPARTA, THE BEAUTIFUL GIRL IN THE WORLD..THE MYCENAEAN LEFT THE TROJAN HORSE OUTSIDE THE CITY.THE TROYANS DRAGGED THE WOODEN HORSE TO THE CITY. achilles

MATEO THEY MADE THE WOODEN HORSE BECAUSE THEY WERE AT WAR AT NIGHT THE TROJANS WERE CELEBRATING AND WHEN ALL WENT TO SLEEP THEY WENT OUT OFF THE TROJAN THEY WENT TO THE TOWER AND WAVE FIRE AND THE GREEKS GUARDIANS THAT WERE IN THE BEACH ATTACK.
