2 Background - Flight Test Technical Team (FT3) The Flight Test Technical Team, FT3, is a Working Committee that operates as part of the NATO Research and Technology Organization (RTO) The Flight Test Technical Team, FT3, is a Working Committee that operates as part of the NATO Research and Technology Organization (RTO) Currently consists of 18 leading flight test professionals from 13 NATO and Partnership countries Currently consists of 18 leading flight test professionals from 13 NATO and Partnership countries Participants include Official, Research, Industry, Military and Academic Organisations actively engaged in flight test efforts. 5 Flight Test Safety and Risk Management FT3 is producing an AGARDograph capturing Flight Test Safety and Risk Management Practices in use across the International Flight Test Community FT3 is producing an AGARDograph capturing Flight Test Safety and Risk Management Practices in use across the International Flight Test Community The AGARDograph will have two parts: The AGARDograph will have two parts: One consisting of an anthology of short papers from civilian and military organisations that describe the approaches that they take to manage Flight Test Safety and Risk. And another that is an editorial that draws out common themes and best practices from these short papers and relates them to specific aspects of flight testing.
