2 APT Facility at KSU Established in 1997 Owned by KSU Indoor facility Allows full-scale accelerated pavement testing on pavement structures under controlled loading and environment

3 Capabilities Six lanes can be constructed with asphalt or concrete pavement in three pits Freeze thaw possible in one pit Air bag suspension loading on single or tandem axles Standard truck tires and inflation pressure Maximum speed is 7.5 mph
