Social Housing in Scotland 1999/2000 - 75% of families with dependant children in rented accommodation were in Social Housing. 2012/13 – less than 50% Rented housing doubled in 10 years – those in social rent fell from 40% - 25% in 20 years Housing tenure is changing – vital it develops with Social Justice / Mobility in mind

Huge opportunity in Scotland in Social Housing Need is clear The appetite is there The mechanisms are there for mainstream Social Investment and Social Impact Investment. We need to find the structures to connect large scale supply to local level demand
