Key Customer Themes : NEW 100s Of Products Only 50p: This theme is heavily promoted in store with hanging and overhead signs together with aisle end promotions and snow ploughs. NEW Toy Sale: There are various offers in the toy aisle promoted with security shrouds, shelf edge strips and shelf fins. Halloween: The store has a Halloween shop together with a display of costumes at the front of the store. The promotion is supported with header boards, shelf edge strips and shelf fins. Christmas: The seasonal aisle has 12 bays dedicated to Christmas products with header boards, shelf edge strips and shelf fins. Key Customer Themes : Halloween: 3 bays in the seasonal aisle are dedicated to themed confectionery and costumes, supported by high signs, bus stops, barkers and bunting. Theme is highly visible on entry to the store. NEW Big Christmas Bonus: ‘Don’t forget to collect your coupons today!’ message supported by high signs and bus stops. Christmas: 2 bays of themed confectionery and accessories supported with high signs and bus stops. Great Value: The ‘Great Value’ slogan is advertised around the store with high signs predominantly in the centre aisle where the majority of offers are sited. General Feel: The store was busy and had additional table displays, floors stacks and shippers. The shelves were tidy and well stocked and plenty of staff were on hand to assist. Key Customer Themes : NEW Your Reward: The offer of £25 Waitrose Vouchers when you spend £50 or more four times before December 1 st 2013 is seen advertised on large signs around the store entrance and in the car park. Waitrose Card: The Waitrose card is advertised with a large window display together with wobblers, barkers and bus stops throughout the store. Halloween: 2 bays are dedicated to themed confectionery and accessories and highlighted with overhead signs, bus stops and barkers. Additional displays are sited at the entrance, tills and gondola ends. 1000’s Of Ways To Great Value: This message is displayed on various signs highlighting offers throughout the store. Brand Price Match: Green barkers, bus stops and large hanging signs state that Tesco’s prices are matched on branded groceries, excluding promotions. General Feel: A clean and well laid out store. Shelves were neat and well stocked and plenty of staff were available. Key Deals: Aberdeen Angus Mince: 1/3 off Coca Cola 2 Litres: 2 for £3 Selected Cleaning Products: 3 for 2 British Beers: 4 for £6 Christmas Cards multi-packs: 3 for 2 Selected Wines: Save 1/3 and save 5% when you buy a case. Sourced Locally: Products that have travelled fewer miles to store are highlighted with overhead signs, tax discs and shelf barkers. Amazing Seasonal Deals: Various products on offer promoted with overhead signs. Saver Stamps: Completed books of stamps entitle customers to 80% off of a selection of cookery books. The promotion is supported with an outside banner, hanging signs and shelf barkers. General Feel: The store was quiet at the time of visit but the floor was cluttered with Christmas display units. Halloween did not feature highly in the store with only pumpkins and bagged sweets on a pallet. Fireworks : A stand is situated at the front of the store. Mobile by Sainsbury’s: A new pay-as-you-go network promoted at every checkout. Halloween: 12 bays of themed confectionery, costumes and accessories with security shrouds, high signs, bunting, standees, bus stops and barkers. Christmas: The seasonal aisle has 8 bays of themed confectionery and Christmas gift sets, promoted with overhead signs and bus stops. Sainsbury’s Brand Match: Signs throughout the store and car park advertise the brand match with the message ‘The Deals You Get At Tesco And Asda Without Going To Tesco And Asda.’ General Feel: A clean and tidy store with well stocked shelves and a spacious feel on entry. All checkouts carried advertising for Sainsbury’s finance and mobile phone offers. Plenty of staff were available to assist customers.
