Enoch end up walking with God in true Paradise throughout eternity. Enoch end up walking with God in true Paradise throughout eternity. Originally Paradise was a Persian word meaning "a wooded park," "an enclosed or walled orchard," or "a garden with fruit trees." Various commentators have pointed out that when a Persian king wished to bestow upon one of his subjects a special honor; he made him a “Companion of the Garden." The subject was chosen to walk in the king's garden as a special friend and companion of the king. Do you desire to walk with God like Enoch? (Get ready, roll your sleeves and prepare yourself!) 1. Be ready to leave your programs and personal agenda behind. When Enoch walk with God he was not. Which this tells us that he put his selfish, self-motivated agenda behind. He truly understand that once he’s blinded by his personal motive, he might have missed to enjoy beauty of God’s glory, the fulfillment of God’s companionship and the opportunity of hearing God’s voice. 2. Be ready to walk with God anywhere He wants. When Enoch walk with God he was not. Another thing we learn from Enoch is that he surely knew that this walk is not his call but God’s. When we decide to walk with God we must be ready to go where God wanted to go. It’s his choice and not ours, his purpose not ours, his agenda and not our agenda, his appointment and not our appointment. 3. Put your full focus on Him. Let Him be your agenda When Enoch walk with God he was not. When Enoch decided to walk with God- he sees to it that his undivided focus is in God. That why the Bible says “he pleased God.” David says one thing I desire is to see the beauty of the Lord.(Ps. 27:4) 4. Be willing to get lost in God When Enoch walk with God he was not. Have you been lost in your time just being so engrossed with God’s presence? Or you’ve been lost in your budget because of God’s financial burden?- Remember the old widow? Have you been lost in your prestige because you get crazy of God?- Paul consider them garbage(prestige) Have you lost your personal plan in exchange of God’s plan?
