3. Wealth & followers 9 basic types of devotional practice Donation is DS but subsequent use of wealth is not his DS If carried away by both, his DS will slacken 35 Saintly qualities (ahiàsä, satyaà, brahmacarya etc.) Doesn’t directly cause Love of Kåñëa but Love of Kåñëa causes this E.g. vegetarians are not devotees but devotees are automatically vegetarian Skanda Puräëa (hunter becomes a perfect devotee) 4 64 items are expansions of these 9 One can achieve ecstatic love by executing all 9 or any one of the 9 9 basic types & devotees who exemplify them Practices Best Example
