14. ISO 39001:2012 - Road Safety Management Systems-Requirements with guidance for use Road accident account for some 1.3 millions fatalities each year. The number of people killed is on increase, particularly on law and middle income countries. ISO 39001:2012 can help reduce death and serious injury due to road accidents. ISO 39001 will assist governmental and private sector organization like by providing a structured, holistic approach to road safety as a complement to existing programs and regulations.

In particular building project, they would like to know how much energy can be saved by a certain increase in buildings envelope’s thermal resistance, by using a more energy- efficient water heater and so on.
