Lines 917-937: Univ.-wide committee provides a recommendation when a sr. lecturer/lecturer with six or > years receives a non-reappointment letter and there is a request for a review of the decision; univ. wide committee can’t make recommendation reversing non- reappointment notice that is a result of unit’s budgetary losses; president, in consultation with provost, makes final decision.

9 Committee Structure & Process Lines 1015-1018: For dept. T&P committees, members elected outside of dept. should come from the same or closely-related disciplines or be familiar with candidate’s area of expertise; there is no same college requirement. Line 1038-1041: Reviewers’ deliberations based on whether candidate has met standards based on dept. guidelines in light of evidence in portfolio and reviewers’ first-hand personal observations. Lines 1099-1103: For administrative faculty, review committees and administrators send their recommendation letters to both the administrative supervisor and academic supervisor.
