2. What will you be doing for the next 5 to 6 weeks? You are going to be applying all of the knowledge and skills you have learned about Engineering Deign. You must solve some kind of design problem that has a POSITIVE impact on society or the environment. You will be researching, designing, and creating a product of your choosing. This product must be marketable (people will want to buy it). Think of this as an Engineering Fair project, similar to a Science Fair project. You will work in teams of three (3) (we may have 1 or 2 teams that have more if we have to but teacher will make that decision). All research and paperwork must be in a 1” 3 ring binder and have all of the paperwork organized per the checklist and grading rubric. You can change these as needed due to changes made when you build the prototype. This will be an ongoing project and won’t actually be completed until the very end and should be used in your final presentation. Day 3-10 = Start your team’s notebook and begin to create your team’s free “BLOG”ineering website per the rubrics given.
