Using color for decoration is distracting and annoying.
Using a different color for each point is unnecessary
Trying to be creative can also be bad

6. Background - Good
Use backgrounds such as this one that are attractive but simple
Use the same background consistently throughout your presentation
This means the same color scheme.
Or the same type of design or theme, etc.

7. Background - Good If your background is blurry, don’t use it.
Don’t use animated backgrounds.
Try to stay away from pictures being your background.

8. Background – Bad
Avoid backgrounds that are distracting or difficult to read from
Always be consistent with the background that you use

9. Graphics-Good Use graphics that are related to your theme.
Don’t put too many graphics on one slide.
Don’t put more than one animated graphic on a slide.

10. Graphics-Good
Make sure the colors of the graphic work with your background and words.
Don’t let a graphic cover up your words.
Don’t stretch your graphic so that it’s blurry.
