October 22, 2009The Upside of Waste Management NEIA Workshop At the Curb Curb side Collection –Municipalities responsible for collection or CRSB will do if requested –Preferred option is to contract out –Because of longer distances to LWMF or Regional Site larger trucks will be required –Two stream collection so split stream trucks required –IC&I wastes will generally not be collected by Municipalities –Bulk and C&D wastes will not be collected with regular household wastes Opportunities –Supply of collection trucks –Collection for residents and bussiness –Special collection services for bulk items and C&D materials
