I see an opportunity for Sturgis to become a regional styrofoam recycling center which would: Benefit the environment Create jobs Administrative, marketing of the service, collection, processing and sales of finished product Could be a resource for local companies that produce plastic products Might act as a template/franchise opportunity for other communities interested in creating employment while helping the environment.

Further research to discover most viable, cost effective solutions Development of sound business plan In depth analysis of projected startup and operating cost for the first 2 years Explore available funding/partnership resources Meet with community leaders and business owners for further guidance and support
