25 USING KSWAN SERVICES - HOW? - DO’S AND DONOT’S

26 Getting Ready to use KSWAN Departments need to provide KSWAN User name and user-id to avail KSWAN services Departments need to register GBC users Username and Password should be given by the department for Dial-up connection

27 What is expected from Departments Nominate a technical representative for co- ordination with Help Desk for getting connected to KSWAN. Provide UPS power to the equipment 3 KVA – 1 hr backup

28 How to Book VC Use mentioned Link: www.KTKSWAN.GOV.IN View availability of slot before scheduling VC. Send a mail to video@ktkswan.gov.in Will get a return mail in confirmation

29 Do’s PProvide UPS power to run the equipment. KKeep the equipments (Router/Switch/LAN Extender) switched on 24x7. EEnsure Security of the devices. CCall Help Desk team for any technical guidance. PPlace request to Help Desk for relocating the equipment.

30 Do NOT SSwitch off equipments. OOperate equipments without UPS Power. TTroubleshooting without proper guidance from Help Desk Team. RRemove power plug or Data Cable. MMove the equipment from installed locations.
