2 Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.

4 I Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

5 I Timothy 6:17 Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.

20 In our culture, you are going to have to make some serious decisions to overcome the pull toward acquiring more. Because when it comes to money – more does not always equal better.

21 Take a Step: Decide to control your standard of living, rather than letting it control you. Prayerfully determine what standard you need to be at, so you can be more generous, as He directs. Then enjoy living at that standard and be generous!
